Student Affairs at Al Falah University has formed the Student Happiness Council. The council includes a group of male and female students from different colleges to promote the concepts of happiness, wellbeing, and tolerance between university students. Through the council, members seek to implement action plans that will promote positivity at Al Falah University’s campus.
The Student Happiness Council at Al Falah University is based on the National Programme for Happiness and Wellbeing, which is one of the initiatives and programs of the Ministry of Happiness that seeks primarily to provide and guarantee the happiness of all members of society and to consolidate the values of positivity and satisfaction, as an integrated lifestyle in UAE’s society.
The Student Happiness Council consists of 7 members headed by student Salwa Al-Adidi from the College of Mass Communication, student Abdullah Ahmed Salama, student Shamsa Abdullah al-Habsi, student Fatima Rashid al-Arri, student Nuha Ali al-Riachi, student Rashid Saeed al-Zahmi, and student Issa Muhammad Khalaf al-Shaer. The members seek to identify the student services, activities, and events that can enhance their level of happiness, in addition, to measure the extent of student happiness towards the services provided by the university.
Council President, student Salwa Al-Adidi confirmed that the council will launch many initiatives, activities, and programs, to achieve positivity and mental wellbeing for all male and female students, achieving the University's goal to spread concepts of goodness, love, happiness, and peace.
