In response to the directives of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Maktoum The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to encourage the values of tolerance through a range of initiatives and projects, Mass Communications students at Al Falah University organized an awareness campaign under the theme of “Digital Tolerance”.

The project also included several initiatives that aim to build societies that believe in the value of tolerance, openness and intercultural dialogue. The project’s aim was to develop a day of digital tolerance at AFU which started with the tree planting of the Ghaf tree as witnessed by Prof. Sameer Barghouthi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, College Deans, faculty members and representatives from various government institutions such as the community development authority dubai, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the Emirates Science Club.

Other scientific, educational and recreational activities that contribute to the application of the approach adopted by the UAE since its inception serves as a bridge of communication between people from different culture and to thrive in an open and respectful environment.

Towards the end of the celebration, participants and organizers were honored for their contribution.
