A delegation of students from Al Falah University participated in the 100 Mentors Program, one of the initiatives of the Federal Youth Authority, held at the Higher Colleges of Technology Dubai Men's College under the theme “Passion For Life.”
The Director-General of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, H.E. Abdullah Nasser Lootah stated during one of the sessions that “there is no lucky person, but there is a creative, hardworking, committed, dedicated, patient, passionate and persevering person who has a clear goal, who is ambitious, sincere and has self-respect and for others and one who is able to adapt to the changes and who sincerely loves his country.”
He also called on young people to think differently and to benefit from the experiences of others, to learn something new daily and to acquire new skills. He also stressed that young people must have a broad horizon and high ambition.
The 100 Mentors Program aims to build the “next generation of national heroes” by establishing a mentor-mentee direct relationship with experienced and accomplished mentors.
100 personalities have been selected because of their competencies and expertise to guide the “national heroes” in enhancing and refining their skills. The mentors will also wok to support the endeavors of the young generation to diversify their abilities.
